Position: In-Home Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant

Compensation: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients of all ages with mobility and transfers
  • Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, dishes, etc.)
  • Prepare meals and snacks per client preferences
  • Accompany clients to errands and medical appointments
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Support prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Deliver dementia care (where applicable)
  • Engage in companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Must pass a background check
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

As a Personal Care Assistant, your role will include:

  • Assisting clients with moving around their homes
  • Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning
  • Preparing meals and snacks based on client instructions
  • Accompanying clients on errands and medical appointments
  • Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Supporting prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Delivering dementia care
  • Engaging in companionship activities, including reading, music, and puzzles

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
